In November 2003, the City Council passed an ordinance granting the Spotlights a long-term, low-cost lease of a building on the Broadview Center campus. It became known as the Cultural Arts Building – Home of the Broadview Heights Spotlights. The building (which was built in 1972 and has 7371 sq. ft.) underwent remodeling by volunteers. The vacant former group-home was transformed into a functional facility containing classrooms, an art gallery, storage rooms, and a performance studio.
