Help us make our new performance space a state-of-the-art theater!
In June 2019, we revealed our brand new performance space at Broadview Heights Spotlights community theater – a 40 x 80 foot black-box style theater, reconfigurable to allow for a variety of stage and audience formations. The first show in the new space was our summer youth musical, The Who’s Tommy, and since then we have shown the versatility and creativity the space give us, in a variety of shows an events including Rumors, the Cabaret series production of Puffs, Stellaluna and Other Tales, Ragtime, our holiday event “Soup, Sandwich and a Show with Santa,” and our 2020 coffeehouse production of Nonsense, Nonsense, Intermission, More Nonsense.
While we now have the creative freedom to provide a flexible, out-of-the-box experience every time you step into our theater, we want to amaze and delight our audiences even further by transforming this space into a state-of-the-art theater. We’ve done some fundraising, but we need the help of the local community and businesses to take us to the next level with our capital campaign.
Our ambitious goal is to rate $80,000 by the first fiscal quarter of 2022, to be utilized on new sound and light equipment. Additional funds raised will be allocated toward additional aesthetic improvements.
